Vice President & General Counsel
Adam joined Ross Realty Investments in October 2003. Before joining the Company, he worked at the law firm of Adorno & Yoss where he served as an integral part of our outside legal team.
While in private practice, Adam concentrated in business law focusing primarily on the structure, negotiation and drafting of real estate syndication, partnership, joint venture and merger agreements. Adam’s expertise generally began at project inception where he focused on key issues such as selecting and forming the most appropriate business structure for federal and state tax, securities and liability purposes.
Adam graduated from The George Washington University in 1992 where he received his B.A. degree in Political Science. In 1999, he received his Juris Doctor from The University of Miami School of Law and in 2000 received an LL.M. in Taxation, also from The University of Miami School of Law. Adam is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida, is a member of the Florida Bar Association (Tax Law Section) and the American Bar Association (Business Section Committee of Partnerships and Unincorporated Business Organizations).
In addition to providing general legal and business advice to each department of the Company and managing our outside legal team, Adam counsels the Company and its affiliates in the areas of business structure, tax and securities law. Adam works closely with management on property acquisitions, new development projects and financing (both in debt and equity) of existing and development properties. We believe Adam is another key component of our future success in this ever increasing competitive industry
